The extraordinary journey of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which began in 1963 with just 20 regimental schools, has transformed into a vast network of 1,289 Kendriya Vidyalayas, illuminating the nation with the light of exceptional education.

It gives me immense pleasure to pen down this message for the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Hyderabad Region. KVS follows a curriculum aligned with the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP), placing strong emphasis on skill-based learning, problem-solving, effective communication and critical thinking. We are also committed to empowering our students through technological advancement and the development of essential skill sets that prepare them for real-world challenges. The integration of technology in classrooms has transformed the teaching–learning process, making education more engaging, meaningful and joyful. The seamless blend of modern technology with co-curricular pursuits fosters a healthy learning environment, nurtures leadership qualities, instils discipline and prepares students to become socially responsible citizens of the future. We ensure a safe and nurturing environment as well, where students are happy, confident and secure within the school premises. A wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as NCC, Scouts & Guides, Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat (EBSB), Youth Parliament, Sports and Games, Yoga, Atal Tinkering Laboratories promoting vocational education, Music, Dance, Art & Craft, Debates, Quizzes and various other literary activities are offered ensuring holistic development and life readiness. Shouldering the responsibility of Hyderabad Region is an honour and I look forward to seeing the region excel in every domain.
